Joint report launched on World Food Day focuses on food and nutrition security, features ITC contribution to coffee sector in Cameroon
The United Nations and the European Union released their eighth joint annual report on World Food Day (16 October) – which this year focuses on food and nutrition security – featuring the International Trade Centre’s (ITC) contributions to building up the coffee sector in Cameroon.
ITC assisted in reviving coffee exports from the African country by assisting government officials in adopting a coffee-sector strategy and by providing technical assistance to stakeholders in the industry.
The partnership report called ‘Saving and Improving Lives’ features data, photos and videos resulting from the two organizations’ on-the-ground work between 2008 and 2012.
