SDG Trade Monitor

The SDG Trade Monitor is an online analytical portal that gathers information on trade-related indicators to provide policymakers and trade experts with a better understanding of how trade is included in the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and helps users track the progress being made in international trade towards achieving global Sustainable Development Goals.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity. They encompass 17 Goals and 169 targets, six of which are specific to trade.

Trade is therefore a crucial engine for development. With this in mind, the International Trade Centre, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), and the World Trade Organization (WTO) developed the SDG Trade Monitor.
