Thanks to the support of ITC, cassava producers in Côte d'Ivoire are increasing their sales in the wider region. The new sales were negotiated at the Benin Independence Fair, held in Cotonou from 18 July to 3 August, with the participation of ten Ivorian companies from the cassava sector.

The presence of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at the fair was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d'Ivoire (CCI-CI) with the support of the Benin Agency for Trade Promotion (ABePEC), an ITC partner. The participation of SMEs at the fair was part of ITC’s Trade and Regional Integration Support Programme (PACIR), funded by the European Union, which helps Ivorian SMEs build their export capacities and diversify their markets.
