ITC teams up with Islamic Development Bank to eliminate poverty
The International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) will be stepping up their collaboration to provide greater support to IDB member states. The two partners will be working to strengthen regional integration and economic diversification across the Muslim world by boosting the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The new partnership was signed by ITC Executive Director Ms. Arancha González and IDB President, Dr. Bandar Hajjar at the Bank’s Headquarters in Jeddah on 1 May.
The two institutions will be sharing expertise and knowledge with a view to craft tangible projects for job creation, sustainable growth and inclusive development that will help eliminate poverty in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
