ITC’s Executive Director Ms Patricia Francis on 13 June met the incoming Permanent Representative of Turkey to the WTO HE Mr Selim Kuneralp.

The meeting also focused on the ongoing discussions about deeper cooperation between ITC and Turkey. These include efforts to enhance South-South and triangular trade, and business cooperation in support of Turkey’s commitment to Least Developed Countries (LDCs), Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs and Small Island Developing Countries.

The Ambassador proposed that ITC convene a meeting with relevant stakeholders in Istanbul to inform about ITCs programmes to ensure that the proposed benefits from the insights and inputs of private-sector organizations and entrepreneurs are met, both in Turkey and in the beneficiary countries.
