ITC @ TICAD 8: Supporting Development of Private Sector Driven Vaccine Manufacturing in Africa

    Overview

    The International Trade Centre is hosting a side event at the 8th Trade Tokyo International Conference on African Development on the support needed to develop trade and private sector elements in developing local manufacturing of vaccines using the case of Nigeria. Speakers from regional regulators, national government, private sector manufacturers and international organizations will talk about key steps necessary to develop the value chain including public / private road-mapping, cluster and supply chain development, procurement, trade regulation and trade policy and market access.
