<p>Project aims to improve transparency in trade and the understanding of trade and market access issues, in particular for developing countries. To attain this outcome, the project will specifically construct and disseminate trade-related datasets upon customized request from target beneficiaries as government, institutional and enterprise entities. Additionally, it aims to implement capacity building and advisory services to improve trade-related data quality upon customized requests from target beneficiaries. Finally, it aims to provide trade-related research and market study services upon customized requests from target beneficiaries.</p>

<p>The objective of this project is to enhance the functionalities and effective use of Trade Facilitation Portals by beneficiary countries with a view to create a more conducing cross-border environment for traders through improved transparency and simplified trade formalities.<span> This project builds upon ITC - UNCTAD longstanding partnership in the area of trade facilitation and creates opportunities for further build synergies across the agencies' respective technical assistance offering.</span></p>
Libya: Increasing trade transparency through the EuroMed Trade Helpdesk

<p>Increasing the trade transparency in Libya through its inclusion in the EuroMed Trade Helpdesk which provides MSMEs with essential trade intelligence information on markets for 9 countries already - Libya will be the 10th country joining this regional initiative aiming to strengthen trade ties between the European Union and the Mediterranean region.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
