Grenada: supporting the fresh fruit and vegetables food safety management systems

    Summary

    This project aims to assist Granada’s fresh produce industry stakeholders in their efforts to adopt an appropriate program to ensure compliance with internationally recognized food safety standards and requirements. The project will focus on providing expert assistance to implementing the final stage of the Grenada Marketing National Import Board (MNIB) to upgrade its fresh produce pack house; develop stakeholder capacities through training and legislative support programs, and strengthen MNIB’s pack house as a conduit for improved export quality.
