It will address the needs of our beneficiary and contribute to ITC strategic priorities

    • Reduce the carbon footprint of cross-border trade procedures as well as CO2 emission linked to border delays
    • Promote “inclusive borders” to generate sustainable livelihood for vulnerable communities

The project will focus on 4 streams of activities:

    • Publications are developed to highlight innovative TF solutions for food security, digitalization, and reduced environmental impact
    • New tools are developed to facilitate the digitalization of trade formalities
    • New awareness programmes are piloted to promote TF as an enabler of inclusive and sustainable border environments
    • New training services are pioneered to capacitate policy makers to create conducive border environments
