A web TV programme brings together more than 40 diverse speakers to understand challenges and identify solutions for small businesses hit with COVID-19.

Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hương Liên runs her own company in Vietnam. The 27 year, through her tour operating business, has been working over the years to promote sustainable tourism. When COVID-19 struck she and her young team found themselves in a critical situation. However, she had a brilliant idea to keep her business running.

For the last two months, it has been difficult to receive orders in landlocked Rwanda. Ms Priscilla Ruzibuka is founder of Ki-pepeo Kids Clothing. She has been looking for solutions since the moment she realized she might not be able to work with the raw materials she had been using. Has she found a way out for her business and what are her hopes from the African Continental Free Trade Area?

Brian Pallas, founder of Opportunity Network was born in Milan. Now 27, he lives in New York and runs his own company through which he provides digital solutions to small businesses around the world. He is a staunch supporter of partnerships in businesses.
Nguyễn, Priscilla and Brian will appear in the International Trade Centre’s special edition web TV programme to mark MSME day.

Business owners and entrepreneurs from Benin, Bolivia, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Kenya, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Vanuatu and Viet Nam were also interviewed for the show.
