Susan Heffernan started Soozar 11 years ago without any investment capital or external finance. On the back of each new project the company continues to self-fund its organic expansion. Soozar’s continued success and growth exemplifies the vision and determination required to participate in the challenging, unchartered China manufacturing supply chain.

Susan’s partnerships with and investment in local Chinese factories is key to Soozar’s success. Its products are now installed in fashion houses, department stores and exhibitions in over 60 cities throughout America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and China. Soozar’s mission has been to raise the benchmark of trusted creative authenticity when manufacturing in China, and to promote quality-driven design standards and concepts inherently demanded within the competitive world of high-fashion global brands and international led design firms.

Susan’s solid technical background, creative flair and business acumen has positioned her as a leader in her field. She is also a board member of the Shanghai Australian Chamber of Commerce where she is actively contributing to the growth and success of the Chamber.
