Future Egyptian diplomats visit ITC

Budding diplomats from Egypt get in-depth knowledge about ITC’s history and mandate.

Graduates from the Egyptian Institute for Diplomatic Studies on 24 July visited the International Trade Centre to learn more about ITC’s work. The graduates were briefed on ITC’s mandate, its history and other trade-related issues.

The visit was part of a study trip to international institutions based in Geneva, and the delegation of nine budding diplomats, was headed by Mr Osama Tawfik Badr, Ambassador and Director of the Institute.

They were introduced to ITC’s areas of expertise and services through presentations made by representatives from the Division of Country Programmes, the Division of Business and Institutional Support and the Division of Market Development.
