Those unable to attend the World Export Development Forum (WEDF) from 15-17 September in Kigali, Rwanda, can still follow the discussions via a livestream on the International Trade Centre (ITC) website and participate through various social-media channels.

All plenary sessions and three out of the six breakout sessions - on impact investment, electronic solutions and export marketing - will be streamed on this page, while the recordings of all the sessions will be available here. The livestream will be available from 9:00 Kigali time (GMT +2) on 16 September until 18:00 on 17 September. See the full programme for exact time slots.

The sessions will be led by global thought leaders and practitioners working in business and government, targeting topics such as unlocking the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through diversification, boosting SME participation in international trade through trade facilitation and regional integration, tapping the potential of South-South trade, exploring trade opportunities in tourism, and buying from women-owned enterprises.

The topics of parallel sessions include impact investment, electronic solutions for SME export growth, sustainability standards, export marketing and branding, innovation through SME incubators, and trade in services.

In addition to watching the sessions, viewers can contribute to the debate by live-tweeting using the #WEDF hashtag and following WEDF on Twitter, liking WEDF on Facebook and connecting on LinkedIn.

Visit the WEDF webpage for more information on the programme, high-level speakers and opportunities to network with hundreds of participants.

WEDF is organized by ITC, the only United Nations organization with an exclusive focus on assisting SMEs. The event will be hosted by the Rwanda Development Board.
