L'ITC renforce son appui au Costa Rica (anglais)

The Minister of Foreign Trade-designate of Costa Rica Alexander Mora called on ITC Executive Director Arancha González on 13 May 2014 in Geneva.

They spoke about the priorities of the new Costa Rican government to adopt a more inclusive approach in supporting the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for internationalization in the services sector.

To meet this objective, a key role is to be played by the local support institutions, in particular by Procomer, Costa Rica’s trade promotion organization.

Minister Mora requested ITC assistance to define priorities in the services sector and improve the efficiency of Procomer to strengthen SME competitiveness.

The Executive Director said ITC stands ready to support Costa Rica with our experience, tools and methodologies.
