Partnership will strengthen efforts to advance socio-economic growth

The African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States and the International Trade Centre (ITC) established a partnership to promote the sustainable trade and economic development of ACP member states.

ACP Secretary-General Alhaji Muhammad Mumuni signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ITC’s Executive Director Arancha González on 18 June 2014 in Nairobi, Kenya to boost private sector development, catalyse business advocacy and enhance capacity-building in trade policy.

ITC, which has been involved in the past few years in capacity-building activities in ACP states, will further strengthen ties with member countries which will help to advance socio-economic growth.
