Robert HAMWEY is an Economic Affairs Officer at UNCTAD’s Division on International Trade. Since 2001 he has been working on green economy and climate change issues through UNCTAD research and technical assistance projects. Currently, in a joint UNECA-UNCTAD, Mr. Hamwey is co-coordinating a 20-country project to develop regional green value chains in Africa and assess how climate change impacts affecting them can be managed. Mr. Hamwey completed his PhD in physics at Dartmouth College and holds an MBA in international economics from the University of Geneva.
