Standards-related non-tariff measures affect small businesses heavily, including in Jordan. This guide gives businesses in Jordan access to quality management information for their sanitary and phytosanitary measures.


ITC and the German Metrology Institute joined forces with the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization to present an overview of Jordan’s quality infrastructure and contacts for quality-related service providers. This national version contributes to addressing some of the non-tariff challenges highlighted by small firms about targeted information crucial for market access and enhancing exports. It is a companion for the book Export Quality Management: A Guide for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.
