Eliminating trade obstacles in Côte d’Ivoire (en)

Nearly three-quarters (72%) of exporters in Côte d’Ivoire see non-tariff measures as barriers to trade, according to a survey of 500 companies carried out by the International Trade Centre (ITC). Thanks to the online Trade Obstacles Alert Mechanism (TOAM), implemented with the support of ITC, traders can notify trade hindrances to authorities, enabling public and semi-public agencies to provide solutions. The TOAM, established under the Trade and Regional Integration Support Programme (PACIR) and funded by the European Union, contributes to enhanced public-private dialogue and improvement of the business environment in Côte d'Ivoire.
