<p>SheTrades Latin America is a pilot initiative of ITC&rsquo;s SheTrades Global and ecomConnect programme running from June 2021 to June 2023 with the objective of increasing the digitalisation of Latin American women-led-businesses from Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Uruguay to sell online. ITC will work with trade-related partner institutions in the four countries by equipping them with tools and methodologies in Spanish to guide and assess a total of 1,000 beneficiary companies in their e-commerce journey on the virtual learning platform developed by the project. Doing so, the initiative will contribute to SDG 5 and the ITC target of &ldquo;Connecting 3 Million of Women to Markets&rdquo;.</p><p><br></p><p>SheTrades Latinoam&eacute;rica es una iniciativa piloto de SheTrades Global y ecomConnect del ITC entre junio de 2021 y junio de 2023 cuyo objetivo es aumentar la digitalizaci&oacute;n de las empresas latinoamericanas lideradas por mujeres en Argentina, Chile, Colombia y Uruguay para vender en l&iacute;nea. El ITC trabajar&aacute; con instituciones de promoci&oacute;n del comercio en los cuatro pa&iacute;ses y las equipar&aacute; con herramientas y metodolog&iacute;as en espa&ntilde;ol para guiar e evaluar a un total de 1000 empresas beneficiarias en su ruta de e-commerce en la plataforma virtual de aprendizaje desarrollada por el proyecto. De este modo, la iniciativa contribuir&aacute; al objetivo del ITC de &ldquo;Conectar a 3 millones de mujeres a los mercados&rdquo;.</p>

<p>Colombia PUEDE is working to improve income earning opportunities of 2,000 smallholder farmers and their families in post-conflict areas of Colombia by increasing their productivity, improving the quality of their produce, and strengthening their market competitiveness.</p><p>Colombia PUEDE works with small producers of coconuts, cocoa, and Tahiti lime in four post-conflict municipalities of the Department of Nari&ntilde;o, in the south of Colombia: El Rosario, Leiva, Policarpa, and Tumaco.</p><p>We aim to help these farmers through:</p><ul><li>Increasing their access to technical assistance and infrastructure.</li><li>Strengthening the capacities and skills of producers</li><li>Enhancing the market knowledge of small producers</li><li>Identifying market opportunities and value chain alliances.</li></ul>
