The growth of South-South trade and investment has attracted the interest of funders and governments as a pathway to sustainable economic development.
This report finds that South-South projects must be flexible and encourage adaptation of easily replicable solutions and technologies, while bridging information and perception gaps in the Global South. The report provides insights drawn from interviews with International Trade Centre (ITC) staff and case studies. It serves as a guide to design and implement effective South-South trade and investment programmes, with a focus on knowledge exchange and technology transfer, and based on a sustainable and inclusive approach.
