Liverpool Vision and ITC join forces to bring women entrepreneurs to the UK’s largest international business event.

(London) – At a ceremony in London on 28 September, the International Trade Centre’s SheTrades initiative officially became a partner to next year’s International Business Festival (IBF). As part of SheTrades Global, ITC will be bringing 500 women entrepreneurs to the International Business Festival, which is held in Liverpool every two years and organized by Liverpool Vision.

The signing ceremony between ITC and Liverpool Vision took place within the official launch of the International Business Festival, which included Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, announcing his patronage of IBF and his intention to visit Liverpool during the event, which takes place 12-28 June 2018.

SheTrades Global will take place on 26-28 June 2018. Five hundred women entrepreneurs from across the world will attend and showcase products from four sectors: beauty and wellness; IT and business process outsourcing; textiles and apparel; and tourism. Attendees will participate in business-to-business meetings and speed networking opportunities.

Previous editions of SheTrades Global have generated more than US $80 million worth of transaction agreements.

It’s the second to last paragraph. It should read: Women entrepreneurs interested in participating in SheTrades Global at the International Business Festival are encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible and before 15 November 2017.
