SheTrades: Trade Impact Group - WTO

Résumé

The project is funded by the EU Directorate General for Trade (DG Trade) and has the overall objective of enhancing opportunities for women in international trade through new research and partnerships. It will support the WTO informal working group on trade and gender and International Gender Champions (IGC) Trade Impact Group.

With respect to the WTO informal working group, the project, through extensive research, will develop a gender-lens framework and analytical briefs to facilitate the application of the framework to the WTO context. Analyses and recommendations will be discussed over a series of workshops and key findings and recommendations will be presented in a final report.

With respect to the IGC Trade Impact Group, the project shall propose a set of actions for the new work plan, identify and mobilize participation from the private sector, and conduct roundtables to promote partnerships and collaborations. A final report will similarly be published.
